High School Special Education Teacher (9-12)

$35.34 - $50.34 per hour

Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Spindle is partnering with a school district to hire a High School Special Education Teacher (9-12) for a high school campus (9-12) for next school year.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with general education teachers to design and deliver differentiated, universally designed lessons
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, including transition planning for post-secondary goals
Monitor student progress and facilitate collaborative problem-solving with the school's student support team

Qualifications:

California Education Specialist Credential – Mild/Moderate
Experience supporting high school mild/moderate caseloads
Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and collaborative planning skills

Pay & Benefits:

Weekly W-2 pay + full benefits (medical, dental, vision)
