HIRING IMMEDIATELY: WAREHOUSE CLERK IN ELWOOD, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Warehouse Clerk to join our team in Elwood, IL. This individual will be responsible for ensuring all shipping documentation is completed accurately and on time while supporting daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Interviews are required. Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Starting at $19.50 to $20.50/hour
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• 1st shift: Tuesday through Saturday, 6 am to 2 pm
• 3rd shift: Monday through Friday, 10 pm to 6 am
• Located in Elwood, IL

Duties and Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with outbound carriers regarding shipment schedules and equipment needs
• Coordinate with site personnel to ensure operational requirements are met
• Receive drivers and provide direction for outbound shipments
• Open and close shipments within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight
• Ensure drivers depart with correct paperwork
• Maintain shipping documents and seal logs with strict accuracy
• Enter and maintain shipping data within the WMS
• Assist in resolving discrepancies
• Monitor trailer capacity and coordinate trailer moves
• Maintain load boards with accurate shipment information
• Assist with material handling duties including receiving, picking, packing, and loading
• Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Experience with Manhattan WMS preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong recordkeeping and data entry accuracy
• Good judgment and ability to manage changing priorities
• Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required
• MHE experience or willingness to learn
• Ability to stand/walk 10-12 hours
• Ability to lift/move 50-100 lbs
• Ability to bend, stretch, reach, and walk long distances within facility
• Must be flexible to work extended hours, nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
• Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions (noise, lighting, temperature)
