Centerless Grinder

Centerless Grinder Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM 

Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements: Must have steel‑toe shoes

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Centerless Grinder to join our team on a full‑time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining centerless grinding equipment to produce high‑quality precision parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate centerless grinding machines according to specifications
• Inspect and measure parts to ensure they meet required tolerances
• Adjust machine settings to maintain quality and production efficiency
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Continuously look for ways to improve processes and product quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating centerless grinding machines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read technical documents
• Knowledge of grinding wheels and their applications
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines
• Openness to learning new techniques and technologies
