Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across a Medical Surgical unit serving adolescent through geriatric populations
• Monitor patients utilizing remote telemetry and manage a broad range of medical surgical diagnoses
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:6 on a 38-bed unit with an average daily census of 33
• Document and communicate patient information using Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR protocols
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Adhere to holiday and weekend scheduling requirements, including working every other weekend and applicable major holidays falling within the assignment period

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR
• All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule changes permitted post-offer or during orientation week
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements; all compliance documents due Tuesday prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical setting with remote telemetry monitoring
• Familiarity with a wide range of medical surgical diagnoses across diverse patient age groups
