We are looking to hire a full-time groomer/pet stylist for our busy general practice. The is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced groomer to join our team!

• Excellent animal handling and professional customer service skills
• Strong knowledge of grooming techniques for all breeds of dogs and cats 
• Ability to perform grooming services, including clipping, medicated and general cleansing, parasite control baths, pedicures, medicated dips and ear cleansing, as requested for each pet
• Ability to groom several dogs per day in a busy practice environment 
• Maintain a proper grooming room, including but not limited to: cleaning cages, tubs and grooming tables; vacuuming and mopping the floor; cleaning clipper blades, scissors and brushes after use
• Recommend retail products that would aid in home grooming care of pets
• This position requires regular on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Due to the nature of veterinary hospital operations, in-person attendance is necessary to support patient care, respond to time-sensitive needs, collaborate with clinical teams, and maintain the safety and well-being of patients, clients, and staff. • 2 years of prior grooming experience
• Excellent verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service
• Must be familiar with standard cuts for all breeds
• Must be reliable, a team player with a positive attitude and must have a great work ethic
• Must maintain a clean and healthy environment for clients
