Medical Social Worker Setting: Healthcare Facilities Job Type: Travel Pay: $2046 / Week Hours: 40.00 Location: Canon City, CO The Medical Social Worker collaborates with themultidisciplinary team to provide input in the development of the plan of carefor those patients requiring social work intervention. The Medical Social Worker provides medicallynecessary intervention to patients who have social or emotional problems thatare, or are expected to be, impediment(s) to the effective treatment of themedical condition and/or rate of recovery.Additionally, the Medical Social Worker provides these services inaccordance with physician’s orders.
