Travel Physical Therapist
Join Big Stone Staffing as a Travel Physical Therapist – 13-Week Contract. Big Stone Staffing gives PT travelers the opportunity to work in diverse clinical settings—outpatient, long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, inpatient, and home health. Position Overview
- Location: Staples, MN
- Setting: HH; limited SNF/LTC
- Pay Package: Starting at $2800/week
- Guaranteed Hours: 40-hour weekly guarantee
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (No weekends, holidays, or call)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy, with a minimum of a bachelor's degree
- Valid state PT licensure (or currently in a PT educational program)
- CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Must successfully pass a background check upon hire
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- New grads encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision for Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy Aides in accordance with state/federal regulations
- Evaluate patients, review medical history, and diagnose movement dysfunction
- Develop and modify individualized treatment plans
- Teach therapeutic exercises and provide hands-on techniques to support healing
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient progress records
- Educate patients and families on home programs and recovery expectations
- Perform administrative tasks including reports, communication, and documentation per HIPAA
