Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.

• Work in collaboration with radiologists and referring clinicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images.
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions.
• Successively document procedures and manage patient records within the electronic medical system.
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices.

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred.

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
