Environmental Field Project Manager Full Time Professional Pensacola, FL, US 13 days ago Requisition ID: 1212 Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually Cameron-Cole, an ADEC Innovation, is seeking an Environmental Project Manager (Engineer, Scientist, or Geologist) (CG06–07) to join our team. With minimal direction and supervision, the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong project management ownership combined with hands‑on experience in environmental site investigations, sampling, and regulatory compliance. This role will perform and oversee environmental field sampling activities, including the collection of surface and subsurface soil samples, ensuring sampling plans are accurately executed in accordance with Cameron-Cole guidelines and procedures. Responsibilities also include data analysis, development of presentations, preparation of environmental reports and/or designs, and supervision of junior staff during field activities. Duties and Responsibilities & Core Competencies Managing assigned projects, including budget tracking, invoice approval, and team management. Supervising the collection of samples for analysis while accurately following identified field sampling plans and Cameron-Cole guidelines and procedures. Reviewing lab analytical reports for accuracy and adherence to QAQC regulations. Designing and performing site investigations compliant with federal and state regulations. Prepares environmental reports and presentations, including tables, charts, and graphs. Participating in the proposal and budget creation process. Supervises junior staff during field activities and project execution. Project management Regulatory requirements Health & safety Data analysis, report writing, Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field 5–10 years of experience in environmental assessment, site investigations, or remediation Hands‑on experience with: Soil and groundwater sampling, Monitoring well installation oversight, Subsurface investigations, Environmental sample collection, and field documentation Phase I and Phase II ESA experience preferred Familiarity with remediation technologies, site characterization, and regulatory compliance a plus HAZWOPER certification and valid driver’s license required Expected Growth Areas Writing Client interaction About us Cameron-Cole was established in 2001 as an independent environmental services firm and joined the ADEC Innovations group of companies in September 2021. Completing field assignments requires the ability to walk over varied terrain and in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold, while carrying equipment and materials. Additional physical requirements include bending, kneeling, standing for extended periods, lifting at least 15 pounds, performing repetitive motions using hand tools or field instruments, and walking or hiking several miles per day as required by project conditions.
