Compensation: Instructional Aide Salary Schedule

Overtime Status: Exempt

Position Summary: The Instructional Aide specializing in STEM enrichment provides targeted academic support to students. This position works under the direction of certified staff to implement structured enrichment activities in a positive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Preferred: Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in reading support

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide small group and one-on-one instruction using research-based enrichment programs
• Support students in developing creative thinking and critical thinking skills
• Implement teacher-directed lessons
• Assist with progress monitoring, data collection, and documentation of student performance
• Collaborate with teachers, interventionists, and gifted education staff to support student learning goals
• Prepare instructional materials and organize enrichment resources
• Maintain a supportive, patient, and encouraging learning environment
• Assist with classroom management and student engagement as needed
• Ensure confidentiality of student information
