Nurse Manager Of AsoiThe Nurse Manager of ASOI is the leadership employee responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating the management, administrative operations and clinical practice activities within one or more areas on a twenty-four-hour basis.Core duties and responsibilities include:Providing care to patients in an organized and systematic manner according to institutional policy and in keeping with patient safety principlesProviding care to patients specific to role and collaborating with the patient, significant others and ancillary departments to become a multidisciplinary health care team whose goal is to provide care that is continuous and coordinated wellProviding for actual and anticipated education needs and including education to meet these needs in the plan of careCommunicating proactively to the health care team plan of care changes in patient condition, the patient progress, the discharge plan and other relevant informationServing as a clinical and education resource to othersDemonstrating competency in designated skill set as determined by patient populationMinimum requirements include:BSN from an accredited school of nursingNJ RN License3 years Med/Surg experienceDemonstrated effectiveness as a group leader and participant, and has the ability to collaborate with multiple members of the health care administrative leadership teamDemonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop employeesMust be able to walk and stand for extended periods with the ability to lift, push and pullPreferred qualifications include:MSN from an accredited school of nursingRecent Clinical Supervisor experienceSalary range: $100,000 - $130,000 annually (Based on experience)Additional information:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
