Quality Technician - 1st Shift

Nolte Precise Manufacturing Quality TechnicianNolte Precise Manufacturing, located on the west side of Cincinnati Ohio, is in need of a 1st Shift Quality Technician. First shift is 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, with overtime available on an as needed basis (may include Friday shifts).Primary Responsibilities:Complete designated inspections and record result in a timely mannerPrepare and process non-conforming material reportsOperate CMM equipment using PC-DMISSupport production personnel quality questions and initiativesParticipate in the calibration programVerify daily maintenance and 5S standardsCommunicate work statusFollow policies and procedures, Vision, Values, Principles, and PhilosophiesMaintain acceptable attendanceAny specifically assigned taskKnowledge & Skill Requirements:Must be able to communicate and convey information to othersMust be able to use and select tools. gauges, and work aids to perform taskMust be able to prioritize work duties to reflect frequent changes, delays, and/or unexpected events during the work shiftMust be able to precisely verify operator and machine performance against production documentation and customer specificationsMust be able to make decisions using the principles of logic in a timely mannerExcellent Math skills up to and including StatisticsAbility to prepare basic communication and reportsAdvanced blueprint readingGeometric dimensioning and tolerancingAbility to use calibration toolingComputer skills including Microsoft OfficeExperience with machining or AS9100 is a plusCMM programming knowledge is a plusOasis programming knowledge is a plusWorking knowledge of Discus is a plusPhysical Requirements:Frequently lift average of 25 lbs including bending, twisting, crouching, etc.Must be able to work with oils/coolantsMust be able to work in noisy environmentMust be able to frequently stand or walk for long periods of timeFounded in 1901, MRA is a nonprofit employer association that serves more than 4,000 employers, covering more than one million employees.As one of the largest employer associations in the nation, MRA helps its member organizations thrive by offering the most comprehensive assortment of HR services, information, education, and resources to help build successful workplaces and a powerful workforce.We partner with these companies working directly with their HR department and leadership to hire their talent.
