(USA) Tire and Battery Service Advisor

Position Summary Maintains facility and sales floor safety and standards, organized merchandise presentation, monitors tire and battery orders, provides expert member service, drives sales and service excellence, triages service workflow, demonstrates safety and compliance knowledge, leverages technology for operations, serves as a brand advocate, and ensures company policy compliance and work prioritization. Responsibilities Maintain facility and sales floor safety and standards by adhering to safety policies and procedures, conducting safety sweeps, and reporting unsafe situations. Ensure the Tire and Battery Center (TBC) sales floor is organized, stocked, and merchandised according to company policies. Set up, clean, and organize product displays, price merchandise, and secure fragile items. Monitor daily status of tire and battery orders, assist members with installation appointments, communicate lead time changes or cancellations, and suggest alternatives. Assist members with tire maintenance and repair services and provide expert recommendations using Sam’s Garage and product knowledge. Promote the value of TBC merchandise and services, collaborate with associates, and drive member awareness. Triage and prioritize service workflow in TBC bays, referencing Sam’s Garage, and recommend adjustments to team leads or technicians. Demonstrate knowledge of safety, compliance, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, POS, and selling techniques. Use digital tools and handheld devices to plan sales, improve service experience, and make real‑time business decisions. Model high quality service, influence team members, and assist in training. Operate TBC equipment safely, receive, store, and dispose of merchandise, complete documents, and process member purchases, payments, returns, and refunds. Execute company policies, standards of ethics and integrity, and collaborate with managers, co‑workers, and customers to meet priorities and improvement opportunities. Minimum Qualifications Valid state‑issued driver's license. Minimum age of 18 years or older. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the auto service industry. Retail experience. The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
