You'll manage preventative, rehabilitative, and palliative therapies while collaborating closely with physicians, referrals, and caregivers to ensure safe, effective transitions to home.Core responsibilities include:Deliver and manage respiratory therapies including PAP, ventilator, airway clearance, and oxygen therapyPerform comprehensive clinical assessments, interpret findings, and provide recommendations to physicians and referral sourcesConduct patient set-ups, follow-ups, and education, ensuring patient and caregiver confidence with equipmentParticipate in highly technical discharges, planning ahead to support smooth transitions to home careMonitor patient progress, follow up with physicians and referrals, and document outcomes and recommendationsProvide clinical in-services and education to hospital staff and other healthcare professionalsMaintain strict adherence to infection control, PPE, HIPAA, and patient safety standardsComplete accurate, timely documentation and charting in compliance with ACHC and company standardsReview and maintain Plans of Treatment and Care Plans to ensure accuracy and complianceCoordinate and assist with CPAP/BiPAP authorizations and referralsTroubleshoot, maintain, and manage respiratory equipment and supply inventoryParticipate in on-call rotation as neededPerform other related duties as assignedWhy you're the best fit:Demonstrated experience providing respiratory care with any of the following PAP, ventilator, airway clearance, or oxygen therapyStrong clinical assessment, decision making, and problem solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and adapt care as neededExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and interdisciplinary teamsAbility to prioritize work, manage multiple responsibilities, and remain flexible in a fast paced, changing healthcare environmentTechnical aptitude with Microsoft Office and clinical systems, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and understand regulatory requirements at the local, state, and federal levelsRole requirements include:Associates degree from an AMA-approved respiratory programOne (1) year of clinical experience as a Healthcare Respiratory Therapist, HME Respiratory Therapist or Nurse with ventilator experienceValid and unrestricted Respiratory Therapist license in all states serviced by the branch or Associate degree in Nursing with an active and unrestricted LPN or RN licenseCPR certificationValid and unrestricted driver's licenseCompensation is based on experience, location and role level.Total rewards & benefits program includes:Comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage (eligible first of the month following hire)401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off Plans including 6 paid holidaysEmployee Stock Purchase PlanPaid Parental Bonding LeaveShort and Long-term Disability InsuranceLife and AD&D InsuranceFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA)CVS Minute Clinic and Teledoc accessSpousal Advantage Reimbursement PlanIdentity Theft Protection and Legal Plan*Applicable waiting periods applyCompany conducted Background Check is required for all roles.
