Job Summary:

A CT Technologist position is available in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role involves performing basic computed tomography (CT) scans within a fast-paced imaging department. The position requires adherence to department protocols and collaboration with radiology staff to ensure quality patient care during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Shift length is approximately 10 hours.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA). Certified CT Technologist with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) credential in CT. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist. Location in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
• Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with TeraRecon 3D workstation is preferred; training will be provided.
• Department Details: The department is equipped with three GE scanners and three rooms for imaging. All equipment includes GE Revolution 256, GE Revolution EVO, and GE HD 750. The department performs all basic CT exams. There are no Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA), but after-hours radiology tech assistants support transport and hospital calls.
• Additional Information: All clinical staff are required to participate in department-specific orientation during the first full week. The role involves starting IVs when necessary. The Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech oversees operations. The radiologist team comprises both in-house and remote professionals. The department will conduct profile reviews and interviews at the facility, with a candidate radius of 60 miles. Travel badges must be provided by the agency. Clinical shifts may be canceled up to four times per 13-week assignment period.
