Job Responsibilities
- Craft Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and design personalized therapy strategies that assist them in reaching their functional aspirations
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to boost patients' motor capabilities, cognitive skills, and daily living functions
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Engage closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
- Guide Patients and Caregivers: Teach patients and their families effective therapy approaches to facilitate progress beyond the clinical environment
- Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure they remain on track
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution
- Encouragement and support for continuing education or post-graduate certifications
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
- A genuine passion for helping individuals achieve their maximum level of independence
- Exceptional communication skills characterized by empathy and clarity
