The Business Integration Unit (BIU) is seeking a highly motivated, analytical, and forward-thinking leader to serve as a Supervisor I within the Technology & Business Integration Group (TBIG). This role is responsible for leading a team of analysts supporting the design, development, testing, and implementation of complex system changes impacting the Disability Insurance (DI) program, including SDI Online, SCDB, and Paid Family Leave systems.


As a BIU Supervisor, you will play a critical role in bridging business and technology, ensuring that system enhancements align with program needs while maintaining operational integrity.

• Lead and develop a team of analysts supporting system design, testing, and implementation efforts
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects impacting DI systems and operations
• Partner with ITB, program areas, and external stakeholders to deliver system solutions
• Provide strategic input into business rules, system functionality, and process improvements
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of analytical work products
• Coach, mentor, and develop staff to build a high-performing team

This position is headquartered in the Central Office in Sacramento. This position allows for a hybrid telework schedule, which is subject to change, under EDD's telework policy. California Government Code Section 14200 requires employees to reside in California to telework. Employees are required to report to their headquarters office, for their in-office days.

Background Investigation Requirement
