Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients, developing personalized treatment plans that address specific needs and goals.

  • Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and family systems therapy, to provide effective treatments that yield positive outcomes.

  • Lead individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to promote open communication and resolution of interpersonal conflict.

  • Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care for clients.
  • \n
  • Maintain up-to-date clinical records following HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance in documenting progress and treatment plans.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, case consultations, and supervision requirements to enhance your clinical competencies.

  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary, demonstrating quick assessment skills and effective communication during high-stress situations.

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing mental health challenges, couples seeking to strengthen their relationships, and families navigating complex dynamics. Qualifications\n

  • A valid LMFT license issued in the state of Oregon is required for this position.

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is necessary to fulfill the demands of this clinical role.

  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred; however, motivated new graduates with directed clinical hours under supervision may also be considered.
  • \n
  • Solid proficiency in applying trauma-informed care models, as well as cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapeutic methods is essential.
  • \n
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and therapeutic demeanor that facilitates client trust and engagement.

  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be advantageous, allowing for seamless documentation of client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience in group therapy facilitation, with the ability to manage dynamics effectively and foster a collaborative environment among participants.

  • Demonstrated background in working with children and adolescents as well as adults in various therapeutic settings.

  • Knowledge of community resources and referral systems, assisting clients in accessing comprehensive care beyond therapy.
