Description: The unit comprises 33 beds. Patient ratios are 6:1 during the day and 7:1 at night. There are 3 techs available per shift, with a unit secretary on days. Type of equipment includes IVs, Kangaroo pumps, and SCDs. The documentation system in use is Meditech. Staff are required to work every other weekend. Floating to other appropriate areas may be needed when required. Patient experience is a priority, with specific requirements for the unit. Candidates should possess necessary certifications for this specialty. Dress code must adhere to unit guidelines. Unit specific policies and guidelines will be provided.
