Inventory Control Coordinator

Zimmer Biomet seeks an Inventory Control Coordinator in Boston to manage field and distributor inventory through monitoring, reconciliation, and cross-departmental coordination. This role ensures accurate inventory tracking, resolves variances, and supports company asset protection while enhancing customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage inventory using SMS, ZSIS, DCS, and Fed-Ex systems for loans, receipts, shipments, and issuance
- Investigate inventory variances and work cross-functionally to identify root causes and recommend solutions
- Generate weekly and monthly reports; reconcile missing or late inventory reports daily
- Facilitate returns and exchanges of expired or calibrated products between warehouse and field personnel
- Conduct cycle counts and coordinate asset placement and recovery across departments
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
- One to two years warehouse environment experience preferred
- Inventory control practices and data analysis experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Analytical skills for process improvement and problem-solving
Compensation: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
