Electrical Panel Builder

1st Shift: 6:00am - 4:00pm

Pay: $25-29/hour

About the Role:

We are seeking an Industrial Electrician to build, wire, and troubleshoot industrial control systems in a manufacturing environment. This role involves reading electrical schematics, assembling control panels, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Schedule is primarily Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. , with Friday overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.

• Assemble, wire, and install control panels and electrical components.

• Mount hardware, route wiring, and complete electrical connections.

• Inspect completed work and perform quality and safety checks.

• Troubleshoot electrical controls, circuits, and components.

• Work with low-voltage systems, VFDs, and PLCs.

• Use hand and cordless tools safely and effectively.

• Work independently and follow team leadership instructions.

• Support production needs, including overtime when required.

Requirements

• Experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

• Experience with control panel assembly and wiring.

• Knowledge of low-voltage wiring, VFDs, and PLCs.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Basic computer skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Control panel building experience.

• Advanced troubleshooting skills.

• Strong knowledge of VFDs and PLCs.

• Experience with diagnostics and technical documentation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winston Salem, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
