Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit

Schedule

12hr Days, Schedule M-F 10a-10:30p

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
Contract Weeks: 14

Requirements

• Min of 2 years of recent experience within specialty
• Required AHA ACLS & BLS certifications
• NIHSS Certification
• Experience with Cerner EMR system

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients recovering from surgical interventions
• Monitor and manage patient recovery, ensuring comfort and safety
• Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate optimal patient care
• Document patient progress and communicate with team members
• Assist in higher acuity cases, including thoracic, orthopedic, neurology, vascular, urology, and general surgery

Compliance / Notes

MUST work 2 major Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day AND 1 Minor Holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve
