Senior HR Generalist

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Senior HR Generalist to join our HR team. This is a highly transactional role providing day‑to‑day HR support to employees, leaders, and the broader HR team. The position requires strong experience in leave management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, HR operations, compliance, and HRIS administration . The ideal candidate is a seasoned HR professional who can manage a high volume of transactions, work independently, handle sensitive employee matters, and collaborate effectively across a multi‑location organization. Key Responsibilities Administer FMLA, ADA‑related leave, medical, personal, military, and other applicable leave programs , including documentation, tracking, communication, and return‑to‑work processes. Serve as a resource to employees and leaders regarding employee relations, performance, attendance, workplace conduct, policies, and other HR concerns . Assist with employee relations investigations, documentation, and resolution of workplace issues. Support compensation administration , including salary changes, promotions, transfers, merit increases, pay ranges, market benchmarking, compa‑ratio, and pay equity analysis. Support administration of medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, HSA, and other benefit programs , including employee questions, eligibility, enrollment, and vendor issues. Process employee changes and maintain accurate, confidential personnel records and HR documentation. Maintain accurate employee information in the HRIS and assist with reporting, audits, data requests, and system‑related issues. UKG Pro experience preferred. Maintain working knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements. Partner with Payroll, HRIS, benefits vendors, and HR team members to resolve employee and operational issues. Support new hire orientation, open enrollment, compensation cycles, HR projects, and other organizational initiatives. Collaborate with HR team members across multiple markets to provide consistent, responsive, and solutions‑focused HR support. Qualifications 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience or equivalent hands‑on HR experience. Strong experience in leave administration, employee relations, compensation, and benefits . Working knowledge of HR policies, employment practices, and compliance requirements. Experience with an HRIS; UKG Pro preferred . Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and a high volume of transactions. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information and exercise sound judgment. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative HR team environment. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Preferred: SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, or other HR certification; healthcare HR experience; experience supporting a multi‑site organization. Location & Travel This position is onsite daily at our Brentwood Central Business Office . Travel within Middle Tennessee clinics will be required as needed, with occasional travel to East Tennessee, including possible overnight travel. Travel Required Yes .
