The role requires a candidate who can help maintain quality and reliability while developing innovative ways to automate network scaling. The ideal candidate is autonomous, possesses communication skills, and has a track record of designing scalable solutions and troubleshooting complex network problems.Key Responsibilities* Deploy and automate one of the world’s largest and most complex networks.* Maintain network quality and reliability during rapid expansion.* Develop innovative methods to automate the scaling of the network.* Design simple, scalable solutions for network infrastructure.* Troubleshoot complex network problems to ensure service stability.* Participate in critical network scaling and decommissioning activities to meet customer demand.Required Qualifications**Education:** Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant networking certificates.**Experience:** A minimum of 7+ years of industry experience is required.**Technical Skills:*** Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols.* In-depth knowledge of and experience with major internet routing protocols, specifically BGP and OSPF.* In-depth knowledge of and experience with major router platforms, specifically with Cisco 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, 76xx platforms.* Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills.* Experience with protocols and technologies such as DWDM, T1/DS1, DS3, SONET, 802.2/3, 802.1d VLANs/STP, IPv4 & IPv6, TCP, HSRP/GLBP, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP, TACACS, IPSEC & VPNs, netflow, DNS, and Qualifications* Previous network experience within a large-scale environment is highly preferred.* Relevant experience in cloud infrastructure. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
