This position will be based in the greater Phoenix, AZ area (South‑Central AZ region). Responsibilities Identify, gather and review requirements supporting the design and implementation of wired and wireless LANs. Perform site surveys to design the network and identify device placement and materials required to implement and configure wired and wireless LANs. Ensure the operation and maintenance of the information technology and network infrastructure systems. Install, configure, maintain, and reliably operate computer systems, servers, and networks; contribute to the overall performance, security, and availability of the IT environment. Test and evaluate wired and wireless networks to confirm performance and security in accordance with established thresholds. Diagnose and resolve network‑related issues, install network hardware, implement network configurations, and provide technical support to end users. Configure, implement, and operate IT and network applications to manage and perform network management and orchestration functions in production, lab, staging, and test environments. Manage and assign relevant Internet Protocol (IP) space in coordination with other systems across the customer enterprise. Meet with the customer regularly to report on the status of the orchestration implementation and overall network health. Ensure direct down‑trace configuration, troubleshooting, and touch labor, and provide input for other local IT personnel assisting with network maintenance. Collaborate with the assigned technical team to implement base configuration files for any changes that need to be made to new devices. Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation such as enterprise architecture, application/system design, and network architecture and design. Experience with Aruba networking equipment is a plus. Support 24/7 operations and be available for shift and weekend work. Qualifications Ability to gain a DoD Secret Clearance or Public Trust clearance (required). High school diploma plus specialized training, and 8+ years of experience; or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or experience. DoD 8570 IAT Level I or Level II compliant; additional network certifications (e.g., CCNA, CWNP) are a plus. Experience in general networking and network administration, upgrade and operations. Good technical writing skills with established experience producing reports using the Microsoft Office Suite including Visio. Understanding of telecommunication room (TR), CAT 6, crimps, and wiring standards; BICSI certification is a plus. Other Requirements Licensed and able to drive a vehicle. Ability to climb a 10‑ft ladder and lift at least 40 lbs. Hourly pay: $39.23 - $58.85 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
