CNC Machinist

Welder Location: Independence, IA Shift: M-F 7am-3:30pm Pay: $20-25/hour Advance Services is now hiring Welders! This is a great opportunity for those looking to build a career with a leading employer in Iowa!

Duties:

  • Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
  • Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
  • Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
  • Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts
  • Utilize manual, automatic welding, and/or semi-automatic welding equipment as needed
  • Will also be running machines, helping out in Shipping and Receiving, and performing other general manufacturing duties as assigned.
