Internal Medicine / Family Practice Locum Opportunity in California

We are seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician for a full-time, ongoing outpatient opportunity in Hesperia, California. This position offers a standard, predictable weekday schedule with zero call obligations. Because this role is strictly clinic-based, it bypasses the lengthy hospital privileging process, opting instead for an accelerated payor credentialing track.


??? Clinical Details & Schedule

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (5 days per week required).
• Daily Breakdown: 8 guaranteed hours per day with a 1-hour unpaid lunch.
• Call Requirements: None.
• Overtime: Premium rates apply after 9 hours worked per day .
• EMR: Epic.

• Certification: Board Certified (BC) Only in Internal Medicine.
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted California (CA) Medical License and valid federal DEA.
• Life Support: Active BLS certification.
• Commitment: Full-time availability (35-40 hours per week) is required.

• Credentialing: No hospital privileges required. The provider will undergo commercial payor credentialing, which typically takes a few weeks.
• Target Start: July 1, 2026, is the goal, though an "ASAP" timeline is expected based on payor setup.
• Travel/Housing: Local candidates are highly preferred. However, a long-term housing budget is currently being finalized for traveling providers.
• Interview Process: The clinical team will review profiles, followed by formal interviews.
