About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Hedge Fund Operations to lead and drive operational excellence in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless trade lifecycle management, data accuracy across diverse financial instruments, and contributing to the development and scaling of operational processes. This role requires a strategic leader who can collaborate with investment teams to optimize workflows, support strategic initiatives, and drive impactful results. The VP will also be instrumental in overseeing daily reconciliation of trades, positions, and cash balances, managing trade booking and allocation processes, and resolving settlement discrepancies. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field, with a strong academic background, and 7-12 years of experience in middle-office operations within hedge funds or financial institutions. Proficiency in OMS/PMS systems, comprehensive knowledge of trade lifecycle management, and experience with equity TRS, OTC derivatives processing, and corporate actions are essential. The role demands a candidate with strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and advanced Excel proficiency. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, as well as exceptional communication and collaboration skills, are also key requirements. Familiarity with Enfusion and AI tools is preferred but not mandatory.
