Traveling Registered Dietitian

Claxton Dietetic Solutions, LLC is seeking a Travel Registered Dietitian to provide interim clinical nutrition services in Kentucky across hospital and long-term care/skilled rehabilitation settings. An interim assignment beginning in October is available and will require approximately three days of onsite coverage per week during the week. Depending on the candidate's location, the anticipated schedule will likely allow for travel home on weekends. Travel expenses will be covered. Following the interim assignment, there may also be opportunities to provide additional PRN coverage at other facilities throughout Kentucky based on availability and need. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and complete required clinical documentation Complete MDS assessments and nutrition care plans, as applicable Monitor weights, nutritional status, and patients/residents at nutrition risk Participate in nutrition at-risk meetings and interdisciplinary care planning Review and address nutrition-related labs, medications, and clinical concerns as appropriate Collaborate with facility staff and the interdisciplinary team to support quality patient and resident care Qualifications Registered Dietitian credential (CDR) required Active Kentucky state licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure Strong clinical, organizational, and time-management skills Hospital, long-term care, skilled rehabilitation, or geriatric nutrition experience preferred Ability and willingness to travel for interim and PRN assignments Pre-Employment Requirements Criminal background check TB screening Drug screening Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and assignment requirements Travel-related expenses covered Opportunity for additional PRN assignments throughout Kentucky Continuing education opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
