Talent Acquisition RecruiterApplied Optoelectronics, Inc. (AOI) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the recruitment process, including collaborating with hiring team, managing candidate pipelines, and supporting various HR activities. The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will be involved in searching and identifying suitable candidates for AOI. Working closely with the recruitment team and hiring managers, this position plays a key role in building a robust candidate pipeline and ensuring a steady flow of qualified candidates for various positions. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of proactive sourcing skills, relationship-building abilities, and a strong understanding of the talent market. The ideal candidate should have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative experience.Job ResponsibilitiesSupport the delivery of a quality full cycle recruitment service and contribute to the recruitment strategy and objectivesWork closely with TA team and hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and develop targeted sourcing strategiesAssess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit through initial conversations and screening processesProvide detailed and relevant information to hiring teamExtend offers and negotiate compensationInitiate contact with passive candidates and maintain a strong network of potential candidates for current and future opportunitiesFoster relationships to ensure a positive candidate experienceStay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and talent market dynamics to provide insights and recommendations for talent acquisition strategiesAssists and prepares correspondence as requestedOther HR tasks as assignedQualificationsBachelor degree in Human Resources, business administration, liberal arts, or similar discipline2+ years' experience in HR and recruiting or similar role in engineering or manufacturing organizationExperience in recruitment coordinationHands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methodsProficient in MS Office applicationsKnowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) ClearCompany a plusProficiency in Indeed and LinkedIn RecruiterFamiliar with ADP WorkforceNow or other HRISExcellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments with competing prioritiesExcellent interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport quickly with candidate and employeesBilingual in Spanish, Vietnamese, or Mandarin Chinese is preferredLocation & Work EnvironmentThis position is full-time onsite and based in Sugar Land, Texas. This location has a combination of office, warehouse, and cleanroom manufacturing work environments.
