Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Sr AI Developer (full stack) to join their team. As a Sr AI Developer (full stack), you will be part of the AI & Data Science Department supporting innovative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr AI Developer (full stack)

Location: Charlotte, NC (3 days onsite every week)

What's the Job?

• Design, build, and productionize GenAI applications end-to-end, leading the development of robust workflows and scalable microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system design, MLOps, observability, and governance for AI products.
• Develop and optimize retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, including ingestion, embeddings, and document normalization.
• Productionize services on Google Vertex AI, containerize with Docker, orchestrate with Kubernetes, and automate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Create user-facing applications and backend services, ensuring security, performance, and reliability.

What's Needed?

• 7-10+ years of software engineering experience with 3-5+ years in applied ML/GenAI building production systems.
• Expertise with LangChain, LangGraph, and experience with Vertex AI and cloud platform architectures.
• Strong knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, FAISS) and embedding models (OpenAI, Vertex, Cohere).
• Hands-on experience with production backends in Python (FastAPI) or Node.js, and front-end frameworks like React/Next.js.
• Proficiency with cloud services (GCP preferred), Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation tools.
