Pharmacy Technician RoleThis opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician role based in Tempe, AZ. The position starts on September 8th and is a 13-week contract with potential for conversion to a permanent role. The schedule requires flexibility to work either 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts.Responsibilities include:Entering data for new prescriptions, refills, and patient information while verifying accuracy against the order management system.Accurately counting, dispensing, and labeling medications in compliance with standards.Preparing shipments for mailing, which involves printing and affixing shipping labels, sorting packages by courier, and coordinating timely shipments to meet service level agreements.Maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy environment by adhering to policies and Arizona Board of Pharmacy regulations.Desired qualifications and attributes:Valid Arizona pharmacy technician license and national certification.High degree of accuracy and adaptability to changing workflow.Dependable, punctual, and accountable work ethic.Strong attention to detail paired with excellent organizational skills.Positive and friendly demeanor with good interpersonal communication.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Receptive to following directions and committed to continuous learning.Effective multitasking, problem-solving, prioritizing, and time management capabilities.Excellent verbal and written communication proficiency.This contract role provides an excellent platform for professionals to demonstrate their skills in a dynamic pharmacy setting with potential for long-term placement.
