Extrusion Assistant I

Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: 12-hour Day Shift (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM) | 2 Days On / 2 Days Off Rotation

We are seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our team as an Extrusion Assistant I . This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to start or grow a career in manufacturing. In this hands-on production role, you will support blown film extrusion operations by packaging finished products, maintaining quality standards, assisting machine operators, and helping ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Package finished film rolls according to customer specifications and production requirements.

• Inspect finished products for visible defects and report quality concerns.

• Apply accurate labels and complete required production documentation.

• Support line startups, shutdowns, and product changeovers.

• Monitor winding and packaging areas to ensure safe and efficient operation.

• Maintain clean and organized work areas using 5S principles.

• Supply packaging materials and move finished products as needed.

• Follow all safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Complete quality checks and production records accurately.

• Communicate equipment, quality, or production issues to operators and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Ability to work a rotating schedule and overtime when needed.

• Basic math, reading, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to read and use basic measuring tools and instruments.

• Strong attendance, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
