Programmer

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• We prefer a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline, though equivalent hands-on experience in a CNC machining environment is also acceptable.
• We require strong proficiency with Mastercam or comparable programming software.
• We expect the ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, to convey instructions and technical information.
• We need solid basic math skills, including accurate metric conversions and practical application of those conversions.
• We value the ability to work accurately and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• We develop precise and efficient CNC programs for parts and fixtures using Mastercam to support production.
• We troubleshoot programming issues during production, make live adjustments, and create programs at the machine with G-code when needed to reduce downtime and meet output targets.
• We partner with our engineering team to interpret design requirements and improve programs for manufacturability and production efficiency.
• We run simulations and tests to verify program accuracy and performance before release to production.
• We maintain detailed documentation of programming work, including revisions, updates, and best practices.
• We contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying ways to enhance programming efficiency and product quality.
• We provide guidance and training to production staff on CNC programs, setups, and fixtures.
• We take part in team meetings and required training to support ongoing development.
• We assist with additional projects and responsibilities as needed to help our department succeed.
• We support production personnel with CNC program and fixture-related questions, helping maintain schedules and quality standards while escalating disciplinary matters to production management.
