Radiology Aide

Under the general direction of the Supervisor or Radiology and Director of Imaging Services and in accordance with established policy and procedures the aide performs multiple jobs in the department. This includes transportation of patients, developing and copying film, front office and files room procedures, assisting others with patients and may include producing treatment devices in the form of blocks. Maintains a high level of initiative, dependability, and motivation. Communicates effectively and exhibits sound judgment in patient safety and treats all individuals with professionalism and respect.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Prior direct patient contact preferred.

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for patients/families of all ages.

Excellent attitude, interpersonal skills and communication abilities necessary to interact with patients, physicians and other hospital associates.

Must have current BLS certification.
