Job Description Universal Logistics is expanding in the Ankeny, IA area and we are looking for quality local switcher drivers for home daily positions. Job Details: 1st shift: 6:30am- 3pm ($26.25/hr) 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM ($27.00/hr) 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM ($27.75/hr) OT after 40 hours Basic job duties include but not limited to: Moving 53ft Dry Van trailers in and out of docks Small yard with about 24-35 moves a shift May be moving trailers to and from separate yards Complying with all company & client safety regulations Position is very active as the switchers are getting in and out of the trucks all day long to open and close doors when backing in and out of dock doors.
