Licensed Practical Nurse – Long Term Care
Day shift, 36 hours a week. Includes shifts from 6am-6pm or 10am-10pm, with every other weekend required.
Assignment Details
Contract Length: 8 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience required
- Must be licensed in New York
- BLS certification required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support for individuals with various diagnoses, including dementia
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient conditions and progress
- Assist in daily living activities and maintain a safe environment for patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Be willing to float between different units as needed
