CAE Engineer L1

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturer, is seeking a CAE Analyst to join their team. As a CAE Analyst, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting Vehicle Simulation and Performance Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, a research-driven mindset, and problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CAE Analyst (10-month contract)
Location: Raymond, OH
Pay Range: $42.34 – $48.39 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Develop and execute 1D system simulations for thermal, vehicle dynamics, and controls applications
• Build, calibrate, and validate CAE models to support engineering decisions
• Perform analysis of simulation results and provide recommendations to design teams
• Automate workflows, simulation processes, and data analysis using scripting tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integrated vehicle system simulations

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (MS/PhD may substitute for experience if relevant)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in CAE analysis and 1D system simulations
• Experience with 1D simulation tools such as GT-SUITE, MATLAB/Simulink, Siemens Amesim, or similar
• Knowledge of multi-body dynamics tools such as Simpack, Adams, or AVL Excite
• Experience with coding/scripting (Python, Matlab, Java) for automation and data analysis
