What You'll Do As a Material Handler Lead, you'll play a critical role in ensuring materials flow efficiently throughout our manufacturing operation while supporting and guiding a team of material handlers. Leadership & Team Support Lead and support daily warehouse and material handling activities Train, coach, and assist team members to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met Foster a positive, team-focused culture built on accountability and continuous improvement Coordinate daily priorities to keep production running smoothly Inventory & Material Control Ensure timely movement of materials to production areas Support inventory control activities, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy initiatives Assist with receiving, warehousing, shipping, and product identification processesMonitor material availability and proactively address shortages Maintain proper storage, traceability, and organization of materials Safety & Continuous Improvement Promote a safe work environment and compliance with all safety procedures Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment Identify opportunities to improve material flow, efficiency, and workplace organization Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment Ability to wear required PPE and operate material handling equipment safely What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory control, or manufacturing operations Forklift experience and ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Prior leadership experience Experience with ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems Manufacturing experience in a heavy equipment, industrial, or fabrication environment Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and cycle counting processes Qualifications Skills Behaviors Motivations Education Experience Licenses & Certifications Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.For further information, please review the Know Your Rights notice from the Department of Labor. #J-18808-Ljbffr Opportunities
