If you're ready to take ownership of bids from take-off to closeout—and want to work on impactful DOT, municipal, and commercial projects across the state—this could be your next move. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate bids for DOT and municipal roadway projects Conduct quantity take-offs , pricing, and scope analysis Review drawings/specs and attend pre-bid meetings Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, and owners to shape strong proposals Present estimates to leadership and contribute to bid reviews Support pre-construction setup , cost tracking, and project close-out Assist with change orders, project impact analysis, and billing accuracy What You’ll Need Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management , or equivalent field experience 5+ years of estimating experience (asphalt paving / roadway construction preferred) Proficient with estimating tools like HCSS HeavyBid, HeavyJob, AGTEK, Bluebeam Strong knowledge of DOT/public works construction methods Exceptional time management, communication, and collaboration skills Bonus: Experience with Primavera (P6) and CPM scheduling If you're a motivated Estimator ready to make your mark on high-impact infrastructure projects across Tennessee, let’s talk.
