Bilingual HR Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and personable bilingual HR Assistant (Spanish/English) to support a Plant HR Manager. This role is based in Kernersville, NC. This role is temp to hire, fully on-site. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both administrative work and employee interaction. The HR Assistant will play a key role in managing temp labor, onboarding, orientation, benefits and other HR administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, comfortable handling confidential information, and comfortable being on the manufacturing floor. This individual will serve as a resource for employees on the production floor while supporting day-to-day HR operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing temp labor in regards to onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Manage the relationship with hiring partners and on-site representatives.
• Manage new hire orientation.
• Serve as a visible HR presence on the production floor and build positive relationships with employees.
• Respond to employee questions and direct concerns to the appropriate HR team members.
• Manage billing/reconciling of benefits.
• Assist with open enrollment.
• Monitor and track pre-employment screening progress, managing onboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Provide administrative support for HR programs, projects, and initiatives.
• Support employee engagement activities and company events.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration preferred.
• At least 2 years of Human Resources experience, including onboarding, employee relations support, recruiting coordination, benefits administration, or HR administration.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or production environment required.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.
• HRIS experience required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn.
• Engaging and approachable personality.
• Professional maturity and discretion when handling confidential information.
