Status: Part-Time or Full-Time Options Available (Shift starts at 1200 hours, specific daily schedules can be finalized at hire).

Pay Grade: $13.90 – $20.15/hr (Dependent on qualifications, experience, and certifications).

Look, we run a high-tempo household with pediatric special needs kids, four cats, and a dog. Both parents work demanding full-time jobs outside of their other full-time positions as parents, primary caregivers, household CFOs, and medical advocates. We are stretched thin, and we don’t need someone who panics the second a plan changes. We need a reliable "right hand."

• Reliability: Look, we get it—life happens. Flat tires, traffic, and true emergencies are real. But if "life happens" every other day, it disrupts our ability to meet our family's critical needs. Our multi-layered operations system requires consistency. We need someone who shows up, on time, ready to impact the mission.
• Open Communication: If something goes wrong, or you need clarification on a task, say it. No ego, no sweeping things under the rug. Bad news does not get better with time.
• Willingness to Learn: We have highly specialized household and care routines here. You don't need to know everything on Day 1, but you do need to listen, take clear notes, and execute accurately.
• Good Attitude: We deal with complex pediatric needs. The energy you bring into this house matters. If you bring chronic negativity into the workspace, this isn't the right fit for you.

• Daily Living: Assist children with specialized bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting routines.
• Mobility Support: Help with safe transfers, positioning, and executing physical therapy exercises.
• Health Tracking: Safely administer medications, track vital signs, and maintain a meticulous daily log.
• Transport: Drive to medical appointments, act as a support liaison for the family, and take detailed, accurate notes during visits.

• Meal Prep: Cook nutritious meals that adhere strictly to medical and dietary restrictions.
• Garrison Cleanliness: Handle the daily household reset. This includes laundry, dishes, changing linens, and putting things back where they belong so the command team succeeds.
• Supply Runs: Hit the local area for groceries, prescriptions, and household logistics.
• Admin Support: Keep the household command post running smoothly—manage incoming mail, sort basic bills, and track care expenses.

• Logistics: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and a safe, reliable vehicle.
• Background: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen post-offer.
• Physical Ability: Capacity to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs frequently to safely assist pediatric patients with transfers and mobility.
• Environmental Note: Must be comfortable working in a home with four cats and one dog. (Applicants with severe pet allergies should take note).
• Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid are ideal. If not certified, see below.

Money matters, but so does the environment. Here is the total compensation package:

• Hourly Wage: $13.90 – $20.15/hr (W-2 employment, overtime paid at 1.5x for hours exceeding 40/week).
• Travel Stipend: $50/month non-taxed stipend to assist with travel and errand logistics.
• Health Care: QSEHRA arrangement to help cover your health insurance premiums.
• Retirement: 401(k) with an employer match.
• Leave: 10 days PTO (Year 1) + 5 days Sick Leave.
