Division Human Resources Generalist

Strategic Hr LeadershipPartner with the General Manager and Corporate HR to align HR strategies with divisional goalsServe as the primary HR contact for all employees within the divisionChampion company culture and drive engagement, retention, and professional growth initiativesProvide leadership coaching, performance guidance, and policy interpretation to managers and supervisorsTalent Acquisition & Workforce PlanningOversee full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboardingPartner with hiring managers and Corporate HR to maintain accurate job descriptions and competitive offersSupport workforce planning and succession strategies to ensure the division is properly staffedManage separations and exit interviews to identify trends and recommend improvementsEmployee Relations & ComplianceManage employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolutionEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and maintain current knowledge of regulatory changesPartner with Corporate HR on complex employee issues and compliance reviewsAdminister and maintain HR policies, ensuring consistent communication and enforcementManage leave of absence, accommodations, and workers' compensation claims in coordination with Corporate HRTraining & DevelopmentIdentify divisional training needs and coordinate programs to enhance leadership and employee skillsSupport implementation of company-wide learning initiatives and compliance trainingEncourage a culture of continuous learning and developmentCompensation & BenefitsSupport administration of company compensation programs, ensuring fair and equitable pay practicesCommunicate and assist employees with benefit questions and enrollment processesPartner with Corporate HR to maintain consistency in compensation structures and merit processesHR Systems & ReportingMaintain accurate employee data in UKG and other HR systemsPrepare HR reports, turnover analysis, and compliance documentation as requiredEnsure timely and confidential handling of all HR records and documentationOther duties as assignedQualifications & RequirementsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required5+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years in a managerial or multi-state capacityStrong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practicesExperience with HRIS systems (UKG preferred)Demonstrated ability to influence and build credibility with leadership and employeesExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsProven ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretionPHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferredPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentThis position is primarily a desk-based role requiring prolonged periods of sitting and computer useRegular use of standard office equipment including computer, phone, keyboard, and related technologyAbility to lift, move, or carry items weighing up to 10 lbs as needed for office or event setupOccasional standing, bending, or reaching may be requiredWork is typically performed in a professional office environment with moderate noise levels and standard lightingThe Sheehan Family Companies are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
