Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school in Mission Viejo, CA for the remainder of the 2026–2027 school year!

Position Details

• Location: Mission Viejo, CA
• Discipline: Special Education
• Dates: ASAP–June 10, 2027
• Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
• Daily Schedule: 8-hour day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Caseload

• Elementary Mild/Moderate classroom
• Students in grades K–3

Special Requirements

• Must hold an active California CTC Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential , or equivalent

Position Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Develop and maintain a structured, supportive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and complete required documentation
• Collaborate with families, teachers, related service providers, and school staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
