Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns, formulating tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs. Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, adjusting techniques based on each client's progress and feedback. Establish therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients, tracking and evaluating their progress consistently throughout the therapeutic journey. Offer teletherapy options, ensuring accessibility for clients who benefit from online sessions due to logistical challenges or personal preferences. Adhere to ethical practices by maintaining precise and timely documentation, reflecting a commitment to both client confidentiality and regulatory standards. Engage in professional development activities, including workshops and training, to continuously enhance therapeutic skills and remain abreast of emerging practices in mental healthcare. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and face a multitude of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work closely with individuals seeking support for their mental health journeys, offering guidance and strategies to help them navigate and overcome their difficulties. This role entails working with clients in various life stages, from adolescents to seniors, fostering an environment of understanding and support. Qualifications A current and valid license in your working state, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). A Master’s or Doctorate degree in relevant fields, including Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, establishing rapport and trust with clients while facilitating productive therapeutic relationships. Empathy, a non-judgmental attitude, and the ability to connect with clients on a personal level, addressing their challenges with care and respect. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, crucial for effective caseload management and administrative responsibilities. Preferred Experience Experience in providing teletherapy services, demonstrating adaptability to virtual environments and understanding of associated technologies. A background in working with diverse populations to improve cultural competency within therapy sessions. Familiarity with specific methodologies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to diversify therapeutic approaches.
