SHOP HELPER

Monday - Friday

6:00 am - 4:30 pm

$14.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Operates or assists with automatic machines used for cutting, curling, crimping, capping, labeling, or tubing paper products such as spools and tubes.
Uses pedals, switches, and valves to start and stop machines and auxiliary devices such as glue heaters, curling heads, and air ejectors.
Loads tubes, caps, labels, covers, spool shields, or paper strips into dispensers, conveyors, or mandrels.
Adds glue to pots, clears jams, and ensures equipment runs smoothly.
Assists with stacking, packaging, and moving finished products as needed.
Maintains a clean and organized work area and follows all safety procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Must be able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to read a tape measure quickly and accurately.
Able to calculate basic measurements, volumes, and percentages.
Demonstrates good problem-solving and common-sense decision-making skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and available for overtime, including mandatory Saturday shifts.
