Check us out on the web at About the Job The food expeditor/food runner acts as a liaison between the kitchen staff and the waitstaff to ensure a steady workflow throughout the various departments the restaurant. Responsibilities Facilitate kitchen orders. Prioritize outgoing meals to ensure that no orders are lost, forgotten, or delayed. Maintain quality control of outgoing food. Facilitate communication between the front of house so that different departments of the restaurant can communicate without leaving their stations. Help monitor food safety. Our Ideal Candidate Brings Previous hospitality experience in a high-volume restaurant Ability to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time. Ability to bend and lift to 40 lbs. Ability to tolerate exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials. Ability to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and changing environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
