Registered Nurse - PICU

Job Summary:
Seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN to provide specialized care across multiple pediatric units. The position involves night shifts, supporting various units as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Float within scope to Pediatric units including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU.
• Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, including certifications like BLS and PALS.
• Support emergency response during hurricane season and other crisis situations as directed.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Possess at least 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience.
• Be certified in BLS and PALS, preferably from AHA.
• Demonstrate experience with ECMO and CRRT preferred.
• Be willing to work 3x12 hour night shifts and cover a minimum of 3-4 weekend shifts.
• Be able to complete all required labs within specified timeframes prior to start.
