Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) needed for a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility in New Britain, Connecticut. This position involves working in a Medically Complex Rehabilitation Unit with cardiac monitoring, including respiratory and vented patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: New Britain, Connecticut
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every other weekend required
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
• Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); 1-2 years of nursing experience; experience with respiratory and vented patients strongly preferred; location requirements; no minimum years of experience specified.
• Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for IV starts, drips, administration of blood, EKGs, medication titrations, glucose monitoring, wound vac changes, wound dressings, trach care, suctioning, straight catheterization, Foley care, port access, central line dressing, and wound measurements. Nurses will float based on weekly needs, with highest demand on respiratory units. Profiles must be clean and easy to follow; experience with respiratory/vented patients should be noted.
