Warehouse Inventory Clerk

JOB SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Inventory Clerk supports daily operations including customer communications, order processing, and coordination of shipping and purchasing functions. This role is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused and able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email


Prepare and submit customer quotations


Generate, process and assist with loading customer orders (Lifting, pulling, pushing)


Coordinate shipping and receiving activities


Create and submit purchase orders


Maintain accurate records and archives


Assist with audits (e.g., class society documentation)


Provide competitive pricing support


Follows all company policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent


Active drivers license (must be willing to pass a motor vehicle history report)

1-3 years administrative/customer service experience


Strong communication skills


Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)


Detail-oriented and organized

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in maritime, warehouse or industrial environment


Experience with order processing or ERP systems


Familiarity with shipping/receiving workflows
